Crohn's disease is a painful, debilitating inflammatory disease of the intestinal tract. The medical profession seems to be able to do little to help with Crohn's other than dealing with symptoms such as reducing inflammation. This is unfortunate because Crohn's does have a cause, and as such, it can be defeated.
The Cause of Crohn's is almost always a Bacterial Infection
One theory about what causes Crohn's Disease is that a particular bacteria found in milk and meat, Mycobacterium Avium Paratuberculosis (MAP), infects us. In one study researchers found this bacteria in 92% of patients with the disease.
The discovery that the MAP bug is present in the vast majority of Crohn's sufferers means it may be a cause of Crohn's Disease in many cases. The bacteria produces toxins which irritate the intestinal wall. Causing inflammation. Other bacteria, viruses and mycoplasma can do the same thing.
Fortunately, you do not need to know the exact pathogen that is causing your Crohn's Disease. This does not matter. The supplements mentioned in this article that we suggest you use will knock out any of these causes.
What is important is to know that a pathogen is causing Crohn's.
Mycobacterium avium subspecies paratuberculosis (MAP) causes Johne's Disease in many species of ruminants. Johne's disease (pronounced "Yone-es") or paratuberculosis is an incurable wasting disease of adult cattle that is being increasingly recognized in the United States.
Since MAP is not classified as a human pathogen, meat, milk and other products from animals infected with MAP may be continually entering the human food chain. There is a wealth of evidence which appears to indicate that MAP is capable of surviving the food processing methods that we employ to protect us from disease, such as cooking and pasteurization.
Crohn's disease is also known as a "wasting" disorder in which the symptoms are quite similar to what cattle experience.
What are the chances that MAP is causing many cases of Crohn's?
It is an undisputed scientific fact that live MAP is excreted in the milk of infected cattle. Scientific studies published in peer-reviewed journals have determined that MAP may be capable of surviving U.S. pasteurization standards.
During the period 1993 through 2000 nine scientific studies came in from the U.S. and around the world which suggested that MAP may survive current U.S. pasteurization standards/practices, and all of them were tossed to the side, ignored by cognizant U.S. Federal Agencies such as USDA (U.S. Department of Agriculture) and FDA (Food and Drug Administration).
There is a growing body of scientific evidence, published in peer-reviewed scientific journals, which suggests that human infection with the MAP is causing some cases of Crohn's disease. A summary of peer-reviewed and published scientific evidence is presented below:
• Numerous diseases in cattle can be passed to human beings through cattle/cattle products (e.g. tuberculosis)
• MAP is a pathogenic (disease-causing) bacterium, which causes chronic intestinal disease in a wide range of animals, including sub-human primates and cattle.
• MAP causes Johne's Disease in cattle. MAP (Johne's Disease) infection in cattle bears remarkable clinical similarity to Crohn's disease in humans.
• MAP is excreted in the milk of dairy cattle infected with Johne's Disease (MAP infection)
• MAP in milk may survive pasteurization.
• MAP infection (Johne's disease) prevalence is increasing in cattle. Similarly, the prevalence of Crohn's disease is reported to be increasing in human beings.
• MAP has been found in Crohn's disease patients by bacteriologic culture.
• MAP has been found in Crohn's disease/IBD patients by genetic probes (including both DNA, and RNA).
• MAP found in Crohn's disease patients is of the Bovine (cattle) subtype, meaning of "bovine origin".
• Profound remissions in Crohn's disease patients have been induced using anti-mycobacterium drug therapy which has been used effectively against MAP.
Again, it doesn't matter if Crohn's is caused by MAP or some other pathogen. What matters is that the pathogens can be knocked out by the products suggested in this article. So....
WHAT TO DO?
Fundamentally, the most important action is to kill off the pathogens. Followed by repairing the intestinal wall so that it is no longer damaged and inflamed. The bacteria or other pathogen produces toxins. It is these toxins that irritate the intestinal wall. This causes the wall to become damaged and inflamed. Which causes Crohn's Disease.
Take 1 teaspoon of Alka Super C mixed with 2 teaspoons of Pepto Bismol, six times a day.
The Pepto Bismol coats the stomach and intestinal walls, the Alka Super C, as it is mixed in with the Pepto Bismol, is then held on the walls where it can better kill pathogens and candida. This does a much better job of killing pathogens causing ulcers or in the intestines, IBS, Crohn's or Colitis, then anything that is typically suggested. (As these pathogens are located on the walls of the stomach or intestines.) Works on SIBO too.
Alka Super C is alkaline so it helps reduce inflammation on top of killing the pathogens causing Crohn's.
Do this protocol for two weeks for stomach ulcers. For Crohn's, follow this protocol for 3 to 4 weeks. This can be used for other intestinal issues. If you can't stand taking Pepto Bismol, not quite as good, but still worth doing, is to get some mastic gum powder or open up mastic gum capsules. Mix 2 capsules worth of the powder, about half a teaspoon, in a tablespoon of water, add in the teaspoon of Alka Super C and drink. Take on an empty stomach. Pepto Bismol and Alka Super C can be taken with or without food.
This is the fastest, least expensive and likely the best way to deal with Crohn's that we have seen.
Next. To heal the intestinal wall, take GI Pro for 4 months
GI Pro is a unique formulation designed to repair the intestinal wall. In addition it provides Neuropeptide support for overall health improvement.
Hydrolyzed (pre-digested) Fish Protein (HFP) is clinically proven to promote intestinal health. GI Pro's HFP is collagen based, and is a 96% bio-active protein for repairing cells and tissue. (Higher than any other product in its category.) No rancid fish oils or allergens, and thus no fishy/bad odor. (Unlike competitive products) This supplies undenatured peptides for neurotransmitter support.
It also supplies marine origin naturally chelated trace minerals for energy, stamina and improved intestinal flora.
GI Pro is a unique, pre-digested, whole food supplement that offers benefits you've never experienced for your digestive system and overall health!
There's more. It also provides therapeutic levels of OPC's from Grape Seed Extract (95% proanthocyanidins) for their synergistic effect on collagen repair. And therapeutic levels of Silymarin from Organic Milk Thistle 80 for its liver boosting effects and protective benefits.
GI Pros predigested collagen (peptide) protein is an amazing food supplement that allows the body's repair and renewal systems to work more effectively.
Collagen protein is the basic building block of healthy cells, and without enough collagen only partial repairs can take place. When too little collagen is available, needed repairs are skipped. As we become older, even essential repairs have to be neglected.
Collagen starvation is the disease we call aging. The hydrolyzed (enzymatically pre-digested) collagen protein in GI Pro is available immediately to the body, and offers unique powerful benefits for the intestinal tract and your entire body.
Hydrolyzed Fish Collagen Protein is backed by a 40-year history of safe clinical use. This collagen and the other ingredients that make up GI Pro have been carefully selected to support the rapid repair of damaged intestinal tissue and establish optimum flora balance.
While typically just one bottle a month of GI Pro is used to heal something like a leaky gut, the damage to the intestinal wall when you have Crohn's Disease is more severe. So for best results, use 2 bottles for a month's supply.
I've talked to people who have been suffering from Crohn's for years.
This doesn't have to be if you take care of the fundamentals.
Kill the pathogens that cause Crohn's, and repair the damaged, irritated, inflamed intestinal wall that causes the diarrhea or other intestinal disorders.
It is that simple.
